It is with great sadness that the family of Corinne Gladys Fleming announces her passing on September 28, 2019 at the age of 93 at North Bay Ontario.

Corinne was born in Minden, Ontario on October 31, 1925 to Wilmer and Mae MacArthur. She was a registered nurse in Minden for over 40 years after completing a three year course of instruction in the Training School for Nurses of the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay Ontario. She and her husband moved to Wardsville in 1986 where she nursed for a short time and volunteered her time for the community tirelessly for over 30 years. Corinne, given her nursing background, was truly compassionate for the care of others and could not say no to anyone in need.

She was the beloved wife of the late John Harris Fleming (1993) and will be lovingly remembered by her sons John (Corinne) of North Bay and Paul (Roxanne) of Courtenay B.C., her daughters Carolyn of Toronto, Catherine and Louise (Jim) of Ottawa, her granddaughters Jayne, Virginia and Brittany, her brother John (Jean) of St. Thomas, her sister Betty (the late Peter) Hearn of Tunbridge Wells, England and her nephews and nieces.

Our thanks and deepest gratitude for the outstanding care Corinne received at Cassellholme (North Bay) throughout her residency there.

The family also would like to kindly express their heartfelt thanks to her dearest friends Marianna and Marius Van Gemert of Wardsville for the love, care and compassion they gave her over the years especially during her time of need later in her life.

Visitation is November 7th, 2019 from 12 - 1 p.m. at Denning's of Rodney followed by a Celebration of Corinne’s life. Interment at the McLean Cemetery in Aldborough Township.
