While searching for another person in the obituaries I came across a name that is stuck in my memory- Suzie Fredericks. I have only met Suzie 3 times but all of these times were very positive. One time I remember being on their property on Cathcart St pawing the race car parked on the lawn (Deuces Wild) when Suzie came out of the house. Instead of cursing at me (like her father would) and sending me away she spent time talking to me about the car. This left an impression on me - many people would think I may have been considering damaging the car or trying to steal it (like her father would). Full disclosure, at that time when I may have been considered naughty. Anyway I wish to offer my condolences to the Fredericks family- but especially to Tammy who I remember from childhood. At that time I lived a block away and we went to the same school. The reason that I am writing this is because I recently have lost a sister and I wanted to let Tammy know that I can empathize with her and her sisters. I hope you can all find solace. Like Suzie, Tammy was soft spoken, kind, and friendly (I'm not sure that I remember Suzie as soft spoken)- these are uncommon and memorable traits. My point is that remembering Tammy after 45 years is not that hard but to remember Suzie after that amount of time after meeting her only 3 times is a testament to the remarkable person Suzie was.
Again I offer my condolences.

I am so very sorry to hear this news today. I had last seen Suzie at her dad's service but I have many, many fond memories of every long weekend being spent in London with Bob and his girls. Many trips dragging down Dundas Street with Suzie behind the wheel. My condolences to the family. Muchly loved and missed.

Aunts are just like Moms only cooler, she lived by this motto. She was always there for us as a friend and mother figure. She taught me so many things throughout my life and was always there to help me. I loved our weekend sleepovers growing up and caught my love of animals from her. She is one of the toughest women I know and I hope I can be even a little like her. We love you and you will be greatly missed

Aunt Sue was the best Aunt I could have asked for and I miss her already. She was always there when you needed her, and always willing to talk & listen. She instilled in me from a very young age I love of dogs and cats she so loved like her own children.
I love you Aunt Susie

I had the privilege to work with Suzanne at 2 different jobs, and she would always tell me her amazing and funny stories. She was definitely one of the most personable people I've ever met and genuinely a kind soul. My condolences go out to her family, she will be missed very much.
