At Bowmanville Hospital, on Thursday, November 28, 2019.  Helena Josephina Van Vugt (VanderAa) of West Lorne in her 87th year.  Predeceased by her husband Frank (2000).

Loving mother of Mike (Elaine), John (Patricia) and Rick (Ellen).  Dear Oma of Jessica (Ryan), Garret, Allison, Karyn, Craig, Nikki and Vanessa and great Oma of Madeleine and Hannah.

Dear sister of Dina, Leo, Martha, Willie, Theo, Martin, Elmer, Dorothy, Bill and Joanne.  Predeceased by her brother John and sisters Bertha and Mary.  

Helena loved her family, singing in the church choir, camping and the Cub's, sewing, playing games and mastering word searches and Sudoku.

Friends are invited to visitation at Denning's of West Lorne on Sunday, December 1st, 2019 from 2-5 pm.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Marys Church, West Lorne on Monday at 11 am.  Interment to follow at St. Marys cemetery.
