I am so very sorry to hear of Joyce's passing, just as she was about to undertake a new adventure in her life's journey. Joyce has always been one of my absolutely favourite people. She was always so positive and upbeat, friendly and comforting, and enthusiastic. Joyce was wonderfully involved in her community and she loved going to theater, especially with her good friend Donna. I have fond memories of their attending numerous shows at Ridge Players in Ridgetown, various concerts, church services and so on. We always had so much fun when she attended the Arts and Cookery Bank Fest-a-Month dinners for several years in West Lorne. Her enthusiasm and laughter will be sadly missed. Our last significant time together was last July, when Gwen and I went on an Appin Tours bus trip to see Come From Away in Toronto. We boarded the bus in Appin, but at our stop in London, there were Joyce and Donna, getting on the bus, as it was simpler for them to meet us there. We had a wonderful time at the show, and then sat together for dinner at a Swiss Chalet, having lots of fun chatting and joking about who did or did not like their sauce! Joyce was a person of strong faith, much love and exuded goodness and joy in all that she did. We will miss our dear friend. Peace and blessings. Larry and Gwen

Beth, Gwen & families, our deepest sympathy. Joyce was a wonderful lady, a true pillar of the community. I can still see her sitting beside my Mom in Church, her rolling pastry on pie day & serving at coffee time after Church. She was so proud of both of you & her Grandchildren. She was always happy & smiling. Such wonderful memories to never be forgotten. She will be missed!

Dear Beth, Gwen and families
Our family misses Joyce! She was a wonderful lady with a big heart. Always modest but friendly and outgoing. It was a pleasure to do her hair for 38 years and see her every Saturday and then at church too! Kevin saw a lot of her too farming the Baker land. She enjoyed the Church bus trips and always sat with Donna. Joyce was a good cook and I was lucky enough to to get some of her recipes! She will be missed...Our condolences to all of you.

Beth, Gwen & Families,
I am blessed to have lived next door to Joyce for the past 40 years. She was a wonderful neighbour, babysitter, and most of all she was a true friend. Joyce had a quiet demeanour and her caring and compassionate ways were so inspiring to all who knew her. May your memories sustain you and the knowledge that others too are celebrating the life of this special lady.
We will miss her.

Joyce lived next door to my Mother Millie for the last half of her life. She was a warm and quiet individual, with a great smile.
She took lots of photographs as I recall. I often visited her and my Cousin Paul when home for weekends.
Annette and I offer our deepest sympathy to the wonderful family and friends.
Gord Baker.
