Elisabeth Memering

Elisabeth Memering (nee Jansen), of Rodney, passed away at Four Counties Health Services, on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Gerhard “Gerry” Memering (2016). Loving Mama of Werner (Vera) Memering, Linda (Brian) Long. Proud Oma of Erin (Eric) Hochban, Dale (Tenley) Memering, Jennifer and Ryan Long. Loving Uber Oma of Palmer and Flynn Hochban and Thatcher Memering. Predeceased by her sisters Angela, Helena, Anna, Maria and her brothers Heinrich and Hermann.

Gerry and Elisabeth came to Canada in 1957 and farmed in several locations before purchasing their own farm in the Rodney area.

Elisabeth was an avid gardener who enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping, and entertaining her family and friends. During their retirement, they would enjoy travelling and spending time with their friends.

A one-hour visitation will be held prior to the funeral service at Denning’s of Rodney on September 27, 2021. Interment at Rodney cemetery. Registration is required to attend. Please register below.
