Fernanda and Family,
I just now found out about about Craig's passing when I was searching for information about his current business on the web. The Fall and Winter (2007-8) I spent helping as best I could with your dome house and shop and learning so much about concrete construction and finding contractors etc was memorable. He was a lovely generous human being and will be missed by all who knew him. What he taught me made my house project doable.

Fernanda,
So sorry to hear of Craig’s passing. He was such an incredible person. I have happy memories of family gatherings, visits and picnics together.
He was immersed in what he loved….. his passion for sailing. May that thought offer comfort at this difficult time.
Thinking of you and your entire family.

Craig spent a good part of the past year and a half installing a new engine in our Cabot 36 sailboat. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Craig and learned much, chief of which is self reliance. With the right tools and determination you can do anything. Will miss you buddy “Yup, Yup, Yup”, not to mention the beers and war stories we shared!!

Fernanda & Family, Laurie and I are so sad to hear about Craig. We always loved seeing him, talking with him and spending as much time with him as we could. He always wanted to make sure boaters got back on the water and then made sure everyone could stay on the water. Craig was always generous with his time and his knowledge. Laurie and I will miss him dearly. Love Robert Steidl & Laurie Lewis

My condolences Fernanda. Craig was loved by many and he went sailing off way too soon. He was given his wish to depart on his terms. I have always enjoyed chatting with Craig when I visited. He was always busy, but always took time to chat. HUGS

Who could not be touched by Craig's infectious smile? He gave of himself fully to his family, his friends and his community. As you said Fernanda, his wish was to transition quickly doing what he loved to do best. Although it is always so hard for those who are left behind, it is a blessing not to suffer and linger. Ed and I grieve with you and your family. With love, Clara and Ed

Craig had the heart of a sailor, calm, attentive, good humoured and up for adventure. May his latest one be guided by the stars and lit by the moon, shining his infectious smile onto his beloved family and friends who will miss him dearly. Knowing Craig through Fernanda was like understanding what a partnership should truly be when you find your best mate, supported and loved with whole hearts. It takes a brave soul to be so open to the possibilities, and Craig clearly lived for the beauty and possibilities that life offered. May we all be inspired by his journey.
Peace & blessings to all as you release Craig to the stars, buoyed by your love.
