Obituary of Bruce Cantelon
CANTELON
Suddenly at Chartwell, Aylmer on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 after a wonderful day with family, Dr. Bruce Cantelon of Port Stanley, and formerly of West Lorne in his 96th year. Lovingly remembered by his wife Sally (Payne) nee Staple, his children David (Babylyn) Cantelon, John (Pat) Cantelon, John (Heather) Todd, Rick (Sonia) Payne and Cathy Kersten.
Dear grandfather of Stephen, Janelle, Amanda, Tom, Andrew, Spencer, Sean, Christian, Nicole, Matthew, Nicholas and Lauryn and great grandfather of Quinton, Chloe and Levi. Also survived by his nephew John and his niece Eleanor.
Predeceased by his wife Joyce (Miller), brother Bill (Lynn) and his parents John and Eleanor.
Bruce was a family physician in the community of West Lorne for 42 years. He was a lover of golf and was a member of the Canadian and Ontario Senior’s Golf Association. He will be dearly missed by his dog Colette.
The family will celebrate his life privately and he will be interred in Evergreen cemetery, West Lorne. Cremation has taken place.
