Obituary of Ken Byers

Suddenly on Sunday, September 22, 2019 Ken Byers of Rodney. Beloved husband of Sharon (nee: Rodgers) of 52 memorable years. Father of Bruce (Theresa) Byers and Greg (Stacey) Byers. Papa of Meghan, Krista, Tyler, Emily and Alyssa. Survived by his sister Jean (Ian) Lochhead and many nieces and nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his brother Don Byers. 

Ken was a truck driver for 45 years. During this time, he made a lot of friends everywhere he went. He enjoyed drag racing and driving his 1938 Willys. 

As per Ken’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family burial will take place at the Rodney Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Denning’s of Rodney. Share a memory at www.westelginfuneralhome.com
