Obituary of Martha (Marta) Jocius
Martha "Marta" Jocius of New Glasgow and Rodney passed away on Thursday, May 27th, 2021. Marta was born in Jurbarkas, Lithuania and immigrated to Canada, where she settled down and enjoyed living in Rodney with her family and friends.
Predeceased by her husband Frank (Pranas) Jocius (2002), sons Ron Jocius (1975) and Ginty Jocius (2012).
Survived by her son Peter and his wife Mary Jocius and her daughter-in-law Lorie Jocius. Grandchildren Daiva (John), Gavin (Leann), Jordan (Julie), Emily, Stephanie and Lydia. Great grandchildren Rowan, Lyra, Jett, Tyson and Jade.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Denning’s of Rodney.
