Obituary of Nancy Ann Miller
Peacefully, with her loving family at her side, Nancy Ann Miller passed away at University Hospital, London on Friday, June 2nd, 2023.
Nancy was a well known and well loved member of the West Elgin community. She was a devoted and proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, serving in many different offices including Deputy District Sports Officer and Zone Commander. She was a member of Port Stanley Legion, Branch 410. Nanner put so much time and heart in the importance of preserving the memory of our veterans sacrifices and supporting the many initiatives of the Royal Canadian Legion. She wasn't an ordinary member of the legion, she was an "Extrodinary Member".
Lovingly remembered by her son Steve, her grandchildren; Maiev and Alex and their mother Jenn, her siblings; Darlene Starks, Rick Falkins (Carol), Diane Verbruggen (John), Bill Falkins, Cheri Knapp (John) and Joanne Falkins (Rob Kerr), her dearest friends Marg and Fred Sharpe and her husband Buddy Miller. Also survived by many, many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Jack and Joyce Falkins and her brother Ken Falkins.
Visitation will take place at Denning's of Rodney, 212 Furnival Road, Rodney on Friday, June 9th, 2023 from 4 - 7 pm with a legion memorial service at 7 pm.
A celebration of Nancy's life will take place at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 am. Interment to follow at Rodney cemetery.
